Too Cuil for Skuil

BTW, I gotta get me a Mistletoe Belt Buckle. Fo' real.
I'm sure you've already read about the supposed Google-killer: cuil.com.  Of course, the most important metric for any internet service is it's ability to be used for pornography.  While others have searched for industry terms and software brand names, I figured I'd skip right to the crucial part: naked chicks.

I think the image speaks for itself.  FAIL.

1 - Please note: the result set was exactly the same whether SafeSearch was on or off.

I think this might be an implementation of the Bogosearch algorithm, in which a search term is accepted from the user, and then a completely random set of pages are selected from the index.

2 - Fan. Tastic!

3 - As ever Nathan saves us all a bundle of time and cuts right to the chase. In dutch cuil could be read as kuil, which translates to "hole in the ground". It seems they've fallen right in.

Cheers!

4 - LOLOLOLOL!!!

awesome... i needed a good laugh...

5 - I got an email after my review was posted. They are stating that it will get better. I say it should have been better before such a huge launch and statement about being better than Google was madein the first place

6 - Thanks for handling the dirty work for us.
