Homecoming

My personal life's been more than a bit rough over the last few months, but this weekend marked a much-needed return to normalcy.  I'm not going to go into details as to what was going on, but suffice it to say that my family has returned home safely and that life has dramatically improved for all concerned.

A quick list of thank yous... some for people that knew how upside-down things have been, some for people that had no idea, some who will never, ever read this web page, but everyone of whom has helped us make it through a very difficult time:

Marne, Ashley & David, Mr. Maybin, Nicholas, Tim, Colin & Yolanda, Bruce, John, Len, Ed, Kenny Ken, Rodney, SecretPrayer, Alex Geddy & Neil, the Notes Dev team... and most of all, Mom.

An extra special thanks to my employer, Lotus911, for the support, patience and tolerance they've shown in dealing with my primadonna self over the last three months.  Jimmy, Scott & Jeff have all been fantastic, and don't worry -- I'll prove it was worth it.

And thanks to you, good readers, for the feedback and encouragement.

1 - Nathan...glad to hear that whatever was going on has gotten better! Based on the fantastic work we've seen you do, I'm sure everyone will be happy to see you back in full force! Best of everything to you and your family! Emoticon

2 - Hey, man, glad to hear things are looking up. Keep your spirits up!

Don

3 - Glad things worked out well. Sometimes a stressful time like that winds up being really rewarding when you find out how well the people in your life respond. Which doesn't mean you ever want to go through it again.....

PS What makes you think the members of Rush don't read your blog? Emoticon

4 - Nathan, I had no idea (sorry about the less than tactful comment on Ed's blog) ;-( Glad to hear things are picking up!

Take care, Stuart

5 - Stuart -- no worries. I haven't felt like anyone had been giving me a hard time or anything. Just wanted to thank all the great folks who'd been involved in helping me keep my sanity.

6 - Good news old chap, good news. Onwards and upwards!

7 - I'm here for you man. Well, actually I'm in NH this week but let me know if you need anything. It's so cool to be right across the room! I agree that the Lotus911 guys have been great for me too. I'm not familiar with your situation, but they've been really flexible with me. Well, except for "throwing me under the bus" as Jimmy put it! Emoticon

8 - Actually, Chris, since I was the alternate to go to NH, you very much were there for me -- quite literally! Emoticon

So thanks. And I hope things are going well there.

9 - Well, glad I could help out! Emoticon

10 - Didn't know things were less than normal, but glad to hear you're OK now!! Let me know if I can help... Emoticon

11 - Same as Jess...you seemed your usual hyperkinetic self whenever we chatted. If there's anything you need, let me know.

12 - I'm glad everyone is back and life is back on track! Given time it will get even better I'm sure! La belle dame sans regret ;)

13 - "I haven't felt like anyone had been giving me a hard time or anything."

I'll have to be more obvious. Emoticon Glad you're getting back to normal (for you).
