This transmission is coming to you...
...from the future.
And the future is SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop from Novell, running Notes 8!
Now that's all fine and good, and I've been running it for about a week. But click more to find out the real twist.

I looked at the Tools menu and spotted
Debug Lotuscript.
Really!? Okay...
Well, that's cool! Let's try View Options - Design. Yep...
Hmmm... add to Toolbar, Create Agent! Click...
In answer to your question, no, Create Form doesn't work. And yes, I then started trying everything else.
The cool part about this is that SLED10 is $50/year. Notes 8 will run somewhere in the vicinity of $40/year, and includes the Productivity Editors. And yes, they work perfectly on Linux. So that's < $100/year for a complete operating system, productivity and collaboration suite.
Think that adds up to some serious competition against MS? I sure do. If nothing else, that turns some cash cows into hamburger.
Yeah, it's early technology. Perhaps I'm even cutting myself a little on the razor's edge, but there's some serious potential here. Get out there and try it yourself!

"This transmission is coming to you..."

How disappointing!

I'll have to see if I can get Ken to give me some of the original clips from High Roller. They'd make some good presentation resources for next year's 'sphere.
