The blessings of YouTube

So I was thinking about this great R.E.M. parody I saw well over a decade ago during the first season of Fox's MADtv by a band called "Corky and the Juice Pigs."  How cool is it that it literally took less than 15 seconds to find it?  Yes, it's safe for work.  It's also pretty loud.

1 - Corky and the Juice Pigs were great! I've got a couple of albums I picked up after shows I saw in the UK. I even ended up singing Skateboard (I use my Grandma as a...) on stage with them at a rather chaotic little show in Southport. Hurm... a quick check and for some reason those albums are not on my iPod, I'm going to have to go and dig them out. Emoticon

2 - Thanks for sharing this!! This was the most hysterical parody in a song I'd ever seen. I'm sooo glad to have found this uTube version but to appreciate and get the most out of it you need to see the MADtv episode it aired on fullscreen. I was lucky enough to catch it on rerun the other day and laughed just as hard as I did when I first saw it a number of years ago! I think it was on during the first or second, maybe third season. For those of you who don't know the group R.E.M. you might not *get* this skit/parody - but these guys (Corky and the Juice Pigs)nailed it down!!!
